Posted by I have received additional feedback regarding the Song of Lagrandil series, which some people owning high-powered firearms have encouraged me to continue to write.
The trick is that the surviving characters have sort of gone their own way as things continue. The two best options going forward are to split the books between characters (which David Weber has done with the Honor Harrington stories now that Manticore proper, the spy series, and the new wormhole region all have their own series reflecting the different emphasis) or to write ridiculously large tomes a-la the late Mr. Jordan’s Wheel of Time books…
I will continue to ponder while I crank away on Pilgrim’s Path.
